  • Kai Lim
    Kai Lim

    Having grown up surrounded by toys and games, Kai learnt a great deal about the importance of entertainment in life, and his undying passion for games has been the single greatest driving force in his journey as an concept artist. An internationally renowned concept designer and illustrator, he has produced concept art for movies such as Edge of Tomorrow and Oblivion, as well as games Star Wars: The Old Republic, Warhammer 40K, Planetside and Front Mission Evolved.

  • Azar

    Upon Graduating from 3dsense in 2009, Azar started off as a Junior Animator in Southern Star Singapore. After which he moved over to Korean studios SAMG & Sunwoo Enterntainment to work on multiple Animated TV Series, such as GON, Vroomies and French show Fish & Chips. Following this, he went on to be a Senior Animator and Lead at Japanese studio Drawiz Singapore working on games such as MGS V, E3 trailers for SmashBros and well known pachinko projects such as Captain Tsubasa. After Drawiz, he handled animation at Witching-Hours on award winning indie game Masquerada. He also founded and serve as a Creative Head for Artzee Animation which produces animated contents for local businesses.

  • Julian Khor
    Julian Khor

    Julian is a veteran in the game industry and sculpting world, with over 20 years of experience working as a game artist, senior game artist, art director and sculpting mentor. Before joining 3dsense, he was most recently the senior game artist at UBISOFT where he was in charge of teams that works on world and character designs. Prior to this, Julian was also with Soft World Taiwan, and KOEI Singapore.  Projects he work on includes Skulls and Bones, Dynasty Warriors and Romance of 3 kingdoms. With a strong following in the sculpting community, Julian is well known for his sculpting  and 3D modeling skills.

    Education: MA in Digital Media Management (TEESSIDE UNIVSERSITY) 



  • Artgerm

    The multifaceted Stanley wears different hats as an illustrator, designer, concept artist, creative director and co-founder of Imaginary Friends Studios — a world acclaimed digital art studio that produces high quality artworks for the likes of Capcom, DC Comics, Square Enix, Riot Games. Some of the games and properties he has worked on include League of Legends, Dota 2, Street Fighter 3 and Batman Dark Knight.

    Better known by his handle Artgerm, Stanley’s art continues to infect and inspire new generations of artists and his ever-growing fan base around the world. To date, Stanley’s deviantART gallery has been viewed more than 50 million times

  • Derrick Song
    Derrick Song

    Derrick is a veteran in the concept art and game industry, with over 12 years of experience working as a Concept Artist and Modeler. Before joining 3dsense, he was the Art Director of Zealot Digital where he was in charge of teams including Character Modeling, Special Effects, Animation and Background Design. With a strong following in the digital art community, Derrick is well known for his 2D illustration and 3D modeling skills.

    He has won 2nd place in the CGHUB Production Challenge (2D category), Master Award in Expose 6, and Top 20 in DeviantART FEZ Character Design. His work shows a strong influence of fantasy art and captures a rich sense of lighting and mood, with strong and dynamic compositions.

    Education: Diploma in Illustration and Graphic Design



  • Craig Stevenson
    Craig Stevenson

    Craig has over 18 years of experience working as Senior Creature TD/Visual Effects Supervisor at top VFX studios around the world such as Weta Digital, Double Negative, Industrial Light & Magic, Cinesite and Framestore. His career has brought him around the globe to work on some of the most ground-breaking VFX work seen in Interstellar, The Avengers, Transformers: Dark Side of the Moon, World War Z, John Carter, Narnia 3, Clash of Titans, Happy Feet 2, King Kong and many more. His expertise covers creature FX (cloth/skin/fur), character rigging, simulation, effects and compositing. Prior to joining 3dsense he was the head trainer at Double Negative, responsible for training all staff in 2D/3D as well as working on VFX production.

    Education: BTEC Diploma in Computing (Basingstoke College, United Kingdom)


  • Martin Altanie
    Martin Altanie

    Martin is an accomplished senior motion graphics designer with over 10 years of experience in the broadcast and TV Commercial industry, working with big clients such as Disney, Fox Sports, HBO, MTV, Nickelodeon, NBCU, BBC, Nissan, OCBC, and many more. He has in-depth knowledge on various aspects of video production such as directing, visual effects supervising, storyboarding, art directing, cinematography, editing, and specially motion graphics and design. He has been constantly winning prestigious awards in broadcast industry such as PromaxBDA Asia and New York Film Festival.

    Education: Bachelor of Visual Communication Design



  • Kendrick Lim
    Kendrick Lim

    Kendrick Lim is a an illustrator and concept designer, beginning his creative journey in Tokyo as a game designer, before returning home to Singapore in 2005 to establish Imaginary Friends Studios (IFS) together with 2 other partners, with a similar goal of making IFS a creative space for artists by artists. IFS has since become a household name in the entertainment and gaming industry, working with a variety of clients such as Sony Online Entertainment, Capcom, Square-Enix, Ubisoft and DC Comics. Kendrick is particularly known for having a character in Dota 2 named after him, as a tribute to the unforgettable in-game loading screens that he created for the original Dota.

    Steve Meyer

    Formally trained in graphic design and advertising, Stanley’s art is imbued with a strong sense of aesthetics and visual fluidity. It is a perfect blend of eastern and western art styles. Better known by his handle Artgerm, Stanley’s art continues to infect and inspire new generations of artists and his ever-growing fan base around the world.   • Benson Shum
    Benson Shum

    Born and raised in Vancouver, BC. Benson has been animating for over 15 years. He currently works in Burbank, California for the Walt Disney Animation Studios, where he was a character animator on their recent hits Big Hero 6, Frozen and Wreck-it Ralph.

    Prior to Disney, Benson was Lead/Senior Animator at Sony Pictures Imageworks, The Moving Pictures Company, Rainmaker and Frantic Films, working on both live action and computer-generated feature films such as Hotel Transylvania, The Smurfs, Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian, The Tree of Life and Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.

  • Alex Woo
    Alex Woo

    Alex is an award-winning director with strong artistic vision and a natural instinct for storytelling. Prior to founding Kuku Studios, Alex was a Story Lead at Pixar Animation Studios, a director in development at LucasFilm Animation, and a Student Academy Award winning filmmaker. Alex has a BFA in Film/TV Production from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts.

    His credit list includes: Finding Dory, Wall•e, Ratatouille, 1906, the Student Academy Award winning short Rex Steele: Nazi Smasher, and the Sundance New Frontier selection VR short The Rose and I.

  • Matthew Luhn
    Matthew Luhn

    Matthew Luhn is a veteran story artist, with over 20 years of experience creating stories and characters at Pixar Animation Studios, The Simpsons, and beyond.

    Matthew's story credits include Toy Story (1995), Toy Story 2 (1999), Monsters Inc. (2001), Finding Nemo (2003), Cars (2006), Ratatouille (2007), UP (2009), Toy Story 3 (2010), Monsters University (2013), Toy Story of Terror (2013), Toy Story That Time Forgot (2014).

  • Venny Lie
    Venny Lie

    An industry veteran with more than 17 years of design experience, Venny brings depth and versatility to the 3dsense faculty. Venny's creative stints span across industries from fashion to print, and in the later half of her career was involved in managing designers and projects. She has combined her design expertise with CG skills to perfection and brings to class her knowledge in visual effects and modeling. At 3dsense, Venny brings not only her years of professional experience, but also the passion to teach and nurture the next generation of digital artists. She is eager to share her skills and knowledge with the students, and grow together with them.

    Education: Bachelor of Informatics Management, WSQ Diploma in Animation



  • Yeo Qing Cong
    Yeo Qing Cong

    Prior to joining 3dsense, Cong was a game illustrator and 3D modeler at various game and animation studios in Singapore. A highly versatile artist, his strengths include digital illustration, concept design, 3D modeling, sculpting and texture painting. Cong has worked on western and eastern-style productions in his career and brings this valuable experience to our full-time faculty in 2013.

    At Gumi Asia, Cong worked on game art illustrations and concept art for games published in the Asia market. Prior to that, he was responsible for texture painting and modeling for various Disney projects at Sunwoo Entertainment studio. To date, his credits include games and animated TV series such as Dragon Genesis, Sofia the First, Ted and Dory and Super Slot Showdown.

    Formally trained in both traditional and digital art, Cong keenly understands the close relationship between the two artforms and hopes to impart art fundamentals as well as industry-based techniques to students at 3dsense Media School.

  • Claudius DSouza
    Claudius DSouza

    A 3D Generalist mentor with experiences in Modeling, Texturing, Look Developing, Rigging, Compositing. Claudius brings value as a strong mentor who can problem solve both technically and artistically. His passion has led him to join the 3dsense team to share his knowledge and his meaningful insights to aspiring artists. His other role in 3dsense is that of of a 3D Technical Director, exploring new tools, areas and processes, that could improve 3D production processes within the school. 

    Beside being the top graduate in his studies previously, Claudius's passion for his 3D endeavours has also seen him being awarded various festival awards for a Short film he directed in 2016, as well as high profile industry sites, such as Artstation.com.  He has also been featured in 3dtotal, Expose 12, Xeno Creatives, Rookies Draft 2016, Iamag, CGvilla, ZbrushTuts and more.

    Education: Diploma in Animation and Specialist Diploma in Film Production.

  • Rezaliando

    Ando has over 11 years of industry experience including as Art Director of Hue Visualab, Critica Studio, BDA Creative amongst his long list of industry credentials. Ando has led several design & 3D teams for high profile clients such as Ubisoft, Disney, Nickelodeon, ESPN Star, Ministry of Sound, Razer, Canon, MTV, Mediacorp and Astro. A highly regarded professional, he has conducted talks across the region and was part of a team of top international designers behind Project 2501, the homage to "Ghost in the Shell".

    He is also the founder and Creative Director of motion design studio Machineast, which counts global brands such as Nike, Heineken amongst its clients.
