PORTFOLIO

All applicants must submit a Portfolio comprising creative 5 work, of which 1 must be a Portrait drawing. The other 4 can be of any medium (Drawings, Photographs, Design Sketches, Graphic Designs, Paintings, Flash Animation, Web Pages, Films or other creative work). While there is no art pre-requisite, we want to assess how well you have organised your portfolio, the quality of your works, but above all, the effort you have put into the portfolio.

Aptitude TEST & Interview

Our lecturers will speak with you with regards to your passion, hopes and dreams. We want to hear your deepest aspirations, your favourite inspirations and we want to know your goals. We will also clarify any misunderstanding you have about this industry if any. You will know yourself better at the end of this session.

previous knowledge

We also want to hear about your previous areas of work or interests. Even if you were in an entirely different field of study, or worked in another industry, we do not believe that any of these experiences is a ‘waste’. Every experience is meaningful, and can translate in one way or another, to become inspirations for your new chapter in life. So don’t be shy if we ask about your previous career, studies or passions!

Preparation Checklist

Many students have asked how they can prepare for the interview, so here it is! While we can’t tell what questions you will be asked, here is a simple checklist you can use to prepare and educate yourself about the course you are getting into.
- Understand your goals for choosing this course, and set yourself milestones that you wish to achieve.
- Go online and look through related sites, such as Behance, DeviantArt, Artstation, CGTalk, or Motionographer.
- If you have not already started, do put in a good amount of effort into your portfolio. The quality of the work and the way every piece is presented will tell us a lot about you!
- Finally, look steady, neat and tidy and be yourself!
