Motion Design + Technology Masterclass

Saturday, August 12th 2017 10am - 5pm

Design as a discipline is on a continuous journey, beginning with objects, growing to include graphics and print, and more recently moving into motion and interaction. However as the industry has matured and the tools have become more homogeneous, designers are growing restless, looking for what's next.
Thankfully, there's a growing appetite for designers' skills in industries previously unable to benefit from their abilities. Tools like Cinder and Processing are paving the way for partnerships between Designers and Technologists that will fundamentally change not just the content of our screens but also physical environments and user experiences in the modern digital era.
This full-day masterclass by Jonathan Kim, Creative Director of Rare Volume, New York, will show you how graphic designers can use technology to create game-changing work and how to embrace the revolution in the new digital century.

We are also grateful to the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) as our venue partner.
