What is the eligibility criteria for 3D animation, VFX 3D modeling diploma program
To apply for our 3D animation, VFX, and 3D modeling diploma program, prospective students should have a strong foundation in drawing skills and a passion for animation and visual effects. A basic understanding of fine arts and graphic design can also be beneficial, but is not required. Admission is based on creative potential and dedication to learning.
What makes the 3D Animation and VFX Diploma at 3dsense unique compared to standalone VFX courses or 3D animation courses
The 3D Animation, VFX 3D Modeling diploma program is an intensive one-year course the best elements of standalone 3D animation, modeling, and VFX courses into a comprehensive curriculum. Unlike programs focusing solely on one discipline, 3dsense’s course offers a holistic learning experience. Students gain hands-on skills in 3D animation, 3D modeling, VFX, motion capture, and more, preparing them for diverse roles in the animation and visual effects industries. This well-rounded approach ensures graduates can excel in the film or gaming industries.
What are the hardware and software requirements
3dsense Media School provides all the necessary hardware and software for the visual effects, 3D modeling, and 3D animation course. Students will have access to powerful computers with dedicated graphics cards and industry-standard tools installed. We also provide access to virtual reality equipment to enhance your experience in game design and feature films.
What is the program fee, and how can I pay for the program?
Fees for our 3D modeling, VFX, and 3D animation course are payable in Singapore Dollars via cheque, telegraphic wire transfer, ATM, or internet banking transfer. 3dsense students will receive detailed email notifications with instructions to ensure timely tuition fee payments. Please note that late payments will incur a 2% charge on the amount due. Leave us a question in the form above and our admissions team will follow up with details.
What support is available for international students?
High-achieving applicants can apply for a merit-based scholarship worth SGD 3,000, awarded on portfolio quality. We also guide you through the Student Pass application, help you prepare your portfolio and application, point you to accommodation near campus, and support you as you settle into life in Singapore.
When is the next intake?
We run three intakes a year and each diploma is one year, full time. The current intake date is shown at the top of this page. Register for the next Online Info Session or leave us a question below and we’ll confirm application deadlines.
What happens at the Online Info Session?
It is a free two-hour session on Zoom. Our counsellors walk through the programme, what the study year involves, fees and funding, and recent graduate work, with time for your questions. Your Zoom link is emailed as soon as you register.
