Through this partnership, eligible 3dsense graduates may receive credit transfer into relevant Bachelor’s degree programs, allowing them to shorten the overall duration of their undergraduate studies.

Academic Progression
Students who complete the 1-year Concept Art & Illustration Diploma may be eligible for direct entry into Year 2 (Level 5) of the Bachelor’s programme.
Students who complete the Concept Art & Illustration Diploma followed by the 6-month Specialist Diploma (total of 1.5 years of study) may be eligible for direct entry into Year 3 (Level 6) of the Bachelor’s programme.
3D Animation, VFX & 3D Modeling

Which 3dsense programs are eligible for University of Hertfordshire degree progression?
All of our full-time one-year diploma programs are eligible: Concept Art & Illustration, Game Art & 3D Animation, 3D Animation VFX & 3D Modeling, Motion & Graphic Design, and Figurine & Product Design.
How is eligibility for University of Hertfordshire courses determined?
Admission into the University of Hertfordshire’s bachelor’s programs is subject to portfolio review by the relevant UH course team. Some programs, such as Figurine & Product Design, may also require an online interview to assess English proficiency and overall suitability.
Students who achieve a GPA of 3.0 or above in their 3dsense program are eligible for accreditation and the direct pathway. Applicants must also meet the University of Hertfordshire’s English language requirement, typically an IELTS score of 6.0 or equivalent.
What does WSQ mean, and how does it affect entry level?
WSQ stands for Singapore Workforce Skills Qualifications, a national skills framework in Singapore.
Do international students have the same progression opportunities?
Yes. All international students who complete a 3dsense diploma and pass the University of Hertfordshire portfolio review are eligible. However, WSQ benefits are only applicable to eligible Singaporean students.
Are there any additional assessments or interviews required?
Yes, certain programs may require a portfolio submission and, for Figurine & Product Design, an online interview.
How long does the progression process take?
Once you submit your portfolio, the University of Hertfordshire team typically reviews applications within 4 to 6 weeks. Students will receive official feedback on which year level they are eligible for.
What is the Specialist Diploma and how does it affect degree progression?
The Specialist Diploma is a 6-month continuation programme offered by 3dsense Media School for students who want to further strengthen their skills and portfolio after completing the 1-year diploma. Our Career Course Counsellors will advise students on the most suitable pathway based on individual goals and progression plans.
