Julian is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience in game art, industrial design, and toy manufacturing. His expertise spans concept development, complex toy designs, and 3D modeling for both games and collectible figures. Prior to joining 3dsense, Julian worked as a senior game artist at Ubisoft, leading teams on projects requiring both visual creativity and technical precision.
At 3dsense, Julian's mentorship emphasizes the essential elements of the design process, from early ideation to final production. His hands-on approach allows students to develop solid foundations in digital and practical prototyping while honing their ability to identify and use the right materials. Under Julian’s guidance, students learn to balance aesthetics and functionality while ensuring safety for end-users, preparing them to thrive in the toy industry or product design sectors.

Julian Khor
Derrick is a seasoned professional in the animation and visual effects industries, with over 12 years of experience as a Concept Artist and Modeler. His career includes a notable role as Art Director at Zealot Digital, where he led teams specializing in Character Modeling, Special Effects, Animation, and Background Design. Derrick's leadership and creative vision have been instrumental in delivering high-quality projects that resonate with audiences.
Passionate about nurturing the next generation of artists, Derrick joined 3dsense to share his extensive knowledge and expertise. His commitment to fostering professional development in students is reflected in the hands-on, industry-focused VFX course curriculum, which empowers students to master software and build a portfolio that demonstrates their creative ability and expertise.

Derrick Song
Edward is a highly accomplished professional with a wealth of experience in both education and the film industry. A pioneer at 3dsense, he spent seven years shaping the minds of aspiring artists before venturing into the world of blockbuster filmmaking. With 12 years of experience as a Senior 3D Modeler, Edward has contributed his expertise to renowned studios like Double Negative, VHQ, and Industrial Light & Magic (ILM).
During his illustrious career, Edward has worked as a Senior Character Artist on major global franchises, including Ant-Man, The Hunger Games, Godzilla, Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, and Transformers One. His work on these high-profile projects has earned him a reputation for blending technical precision with artistic creativity, bringing iconic characters to life on the big screen.
Now, Edward has returned to 3dsense, eager to share his invaluable industry experience with the next generation of digital artists. His mentorship focuses on equipping students with the skills necessary to thrive in the fast-paced world of film, gaming, and digital media, ensuring they are well-prepared for the challenges and opportunities of an ever-evolving industry.

Edward Lim
Yek Peng, formerly a senior artist at the renowned studio Carbon, now leads the Motion Design program at 3dsense Media School. With a wealth of industry experience, Yek Peng brings a deep understanding of motion design, animation, and visual storytelling to the program. His expertise spans across branding, advertising, and digital media, with an eye for the evolving trends that shape the industry.
As Program Director, Yek Peng is dedicated to ensuring that students not only master the industry-standard tools such as Cinema 4D, Adobe Creative Suite, and After Effects, but also gain the necessary skills to thrive in a fast-paced professional environment. His mentorship focuses on helping students develop the confidence and competence required to succeed in the ever-evolving world of motion graphics and digital design.

Kong Yek Peng
Cong is an esteemed Senior Mentor at 3dsense, guiding students in the fields of Illustration, Game Art, and Visual Effects. With a deep-rooted passion for art and design, Cong brings a wealth of industry experience to his role, having contributed to numerous successful productions throughout his career. His past work at Sunwoo, as well as his experience with several other renowned studios, has provided him with a strong foundation in both the creative and technical aspects of visual storytelling.
As 3dsense's Chief Reviewer, Cong plays a pivotal role in evaluating and providing critical feedback to students, ensuring that their work meets the highest industry standards. His extensive knowledge of the production pipeline and his keen eye for detail allow him to offer invaluable insights that help students refine their skills and elevate their craft. Cong's mentorship is a blend of practical experience and creative guidance, empowering students to push their limits and develop their full potential in the dynamic world of digital art.

Cong Yeo
Justin Kwek is a talented game animator with over six years of experience in the games industry. A proud alumnus of 3dsense Media School, Justin has made significant contributions to multiple AAA titles, showcasing his expertise in-game animation and character creation.
Throughout his career, Justin has had the privilege of working with prestigious studios such as Omens, Tecmo Koei, and Ubisoft Singapore. His diverse experience spans various aspects of game animation, where he has honed his skills in creating engaging and dynamic game characters and bringing them to life in video games. His technical understanding of game engines like Unreal Engine and Unity Game Engine ensures students are prepared for both concept art and game design careers.

Justin Kwek
Geraldine Khor brings nearly a decade of experience in the games and film industry, having collaborated with renowned studios such as Double Negative, Koei Tecmo, and Lucasfilm. At Koei Tecmo, she contributed to gameplay animations for popular titles including Fire Emblem: Three Houses and Persona 5: Strikers, and also ventured into cutscene production during her tenure.
Following her time at Koei Tecmo, Geraldine joined Lucasfilm Singapore, where she focused on character animations for major films like Ultraman: Rising and Transformers One. Her diverse experience across both gaming and film has equipped her with a unique skill set and a deep understanding of animation techniques, making her a valuable asset in the industry.

Geraldine Khor
With over 8 years of experience in the motion graphics industry, Manfred Seet is a seasoned expert who has worked with top studios like Offset and Carbon. His proficiency in both 2D and 3D design, animation, video production, and visual effects has led to collaborations with global brands such as McDonald's, Apple, and Facebook, as well as local icons like Singtel and Night Owl Cinematics.
In addition to his work as a motion designer, Manfred has served as a technical director, leading teams in optimizing workflows using advanced techniques like expressions and scripting.
As an educator, he is passionate about sharing his knowledge and has been instrumental in teaching both the creative and technical aspects of motion design at 3dsense Media School. His mentorship equips students with the skills needed to tackle industry challenges and build a successful career in motion design.

Manfred Seet
Venny is a dedicated mentor for the Game Art and Visual Effects Diploma program at 3dsense, where she has played a pivotal role in shaping the careers of countless students. With a passion for teaching and a commitment to excellence, she empowers her students to develop their art skills, industry knowledge, and knowledge learned through practical experience, helping them navigate the path to success in the competitive fields of game art, game concept, and game world.
Venny’s expertise in Unreal Engine enables her to teach students how to deploy their game assets effectively, ensuring they are equipped with the skills necessary to thrive in modern game development. She emphasizes both the technical skills and creative skills needed to succeed in the games industry.

Venny Lie
Chia Kai is a versatile artist whose work bridges the gap between design theory and technical application. With a Master’s in Architecture from NUS, he has explored disciplines such as computer-aided design, 2D animation, and material selection for sustainable products. His experience includes developing interactive exhibits for firms like CPG Consultants and Vouse, where his problem-solving skills were vital to creative success.
In his role at 3dsense, Chia Kai focuses on developing a student’s creativity and technical abilities through hands-on experience. He introduces innovative approaches to choosing materials, integrating recycled materials and sustainable materials wherever possible, to teach students how to create practical yet visually striking products. Chia Kai’s dynamic teaching style inspires students to engage with the evolving world of design and confidently present their final product.

Teo Chia Kai
Deborah is a dedicated mentor for the Game Art and Visual Effects Diploma programs at 3dsense, bringing a deep passion for 3D modeling and a strong academic background with a BA (Hons) in Computer Modelling, a WSQ Diploma, and a Specialist Diploma in Digital Film Production.
With hands-on experience as a 3D artist at Vouse, she has contributed to a variety of projects, including mobile apps, games, and architectural visualization, as well as short films. Deborah’s diverse experience equips her with a unique perspective on both creative and technical aspects of the industry. She is committed to helping students develop their skills and apply their knowledge to real-world projects, empowering them to thrive in the ever-evolving world of digital arts.

Deborah Ling
With expertise spanning toy design, product prototyping, and modern craftsmanship, Gelissa is a multi-disciplinary designer passionate about blending engineering techniques with creative expression. Her background includes 3D manufacturing, packaging design, leathercraft, and carpentry, giving her a well-rounded perspective on the design process.
Holding a BA (Hons) in Computer Modelling and Animation, Gelissa has worked on innovative projects that emphasize material experimentation, safety considerations, and functional artistry. At 3dsense, Gelissa empowers students to explore unconventional ideas and bring them to life with precision. Her mentorship guides students through every stage of product and toy design, ensuring they acquire the skills needed to develop unique solutions and establish a standout portfolio.

Gelissa Loh
Stanley, better known as Artgerm, is a Hong Kong-born illustrator, designer, concept artist, and co-founder of Imaginary Friends Studios, a globally renowned digital art studio that has worked with Capcom, DC Comics, Marvel, and other entertainment giants.
With formal training in graphic design and advertising, Stanley's art blends eastern and western styles, earning him a massive online following, including over 50 million views on his deviantART gallery.
Active in the international art community, Stanley has shared his passion at institutions and conferences worldwide and has been featured in top art publications like ImagineFX and Spectrum. Since 2013, he and his partners at IFS have collaborated with 3dsense Media School to run a full-time diploma course in Digital Design & Illustration.

Stanley "Artgerm' Lau
Kendrick Lim, also known as “kunkka,” is an illustrator, concept designer, and mentor. He began his creative journey in Tokyo as a game designer before returning to Singapore in 2005 to co-found Imaginary Friends Studios (IFS) with two partners. Their goal was to create a creative space for artists, by artists. Since then, IFS has become a recognized name in the entertainment and gaming industry, collaborating with major clients like Sony Online Entertainment, Capcom, Square-Enix, Ubisoft, and DC Comics.
Kunkka’s art is bold, gritty, and sensual, blending fantasy, contemporary themes, and cultural influences into a unique style that has gained a loyal following. He has made a significant impact in both the illustration and gaming worlds, particularly with his work for the popular game DOTA, where a character was named after him, solidifying his place in the hearts of millions of gaming fans worldwide.

Kendrick Lim
Kai’s deep-rooted passion for games and entertainment, nurtured from a childhood surrounded by toys, has driven his creative journey as an artist. Today, he thrives in an entertainment design studio, working on a wide range of projects, including graphic novels, concept art for films, animation, and games.
Being able to create alongside friends and colleagues he admires makes his work all the more fulfilling. While his craft is his greatest love, his fascination with giant, war-torn robots battling across distant galaxies comes in a close second, along with his unwavering love for a good cup of milk tea.

Kai Lim
Michael is a Creative Generalist specializing in CG and VFX production, with extensive experience in the VFX industry as a Designer, 2D Animation Supervisor, and Short Film Director. With a background in Architecture and Interior Design, he has collaborated with notable brands such as Hermes Watches, DKNY, Estée Lauder, Robinsons, and Marks & Spencer.
Beginning his career as an independent artist, Michael has produced a wide range of work, including pre-production art, pre-visualization, 2D/3D animation, visual effects, rendering, and video editing for projects like New Zealand’s Kiwi & Cat. His diverse portfolio also encompasses design, videography, photography, advertising, and NFTs. Michael's short films have garnered over 15 million views and have been featured in several prestigious film festivals.

Michael Rafanan
Crystal, an accomplished instructor for the Art & Design Foundation Program, brings a wealth of expertise honed over six years in the dynamic worlds of casual mobile gaming, slot design, and advertising.
Currently serving as a concept artist at MOCREATIVE, she specializes in illustration and concept design, where her talent and creativity shine. Crystal's boundless curiosity fuels her exploration of motion graphics, 3D and 2D animation, and scripting, allowing her to master diverse artistic disciplines.
Passionate about fostering creativity and innovation, she is dedicated to inspiring students to embrace experimentation and discover their unique artistic voices. With a commitment to sharing her extensive knowledge of workflows and design styles, Crystal empowers aspiring artists to push the boundaries of their imagination and achieve their creative potential.
