What is the eligibility criteria for the Concept Art & Illustration diploma course?
Our Concept Art & Illustration diploma course welcomes anyone with a passion for art and visual storytelling. Although prior skills in drawing or design are helpful, they’re not required. Admission is based on creative potential and commitment to learning.
What makes the 12-month Concept Art & Illustration diploma program at 3dsense unique?
You build a shared foundation in drawing, perspective and digital painting, then specialise in either concept art or illustration, depending on the career you are aiming for. Fourteen modules across three terms take you from fundamentals to an industry-ready portfolio in your chosen discipline.
What hardware and software are required?
3dsense provides all the necessary hardware and software for the Concept Art & Illustration diploma course. Students will have access to powerful computers with dedicated graphics cards and industry-standard tools installed. The only item you’ll need to bring is a drawing tablet (preferably Wacom) for hands-on practice. Key software includes Adobe Creative Suite and other essential industry tools.
What is the program fee, and how can I pay for the program?
Course fees are payable in Singapore Dollars via cheque, wire transfer, ATM, or internet banking transfer. Students will receive detailed email notifications with instructions to ensure timely tuition fee payments. Please note that late payments will incur a 2% charge on the amount due. What are the career prospects after completing Concept Art & Illustration diploma?
After completing the Concept Art & Illustration diploma, graduates go on to work as concept artists, character designers, storyboard artists and visual development artists, across film, games and animation. You graduate with a portfolio built to meet global industry standards, and our team helps you position it for the roles you are targeting.
What support is available for international students?
We guide you through the Student Pass application, help you prepare your portfolio and application, point you to accommodation near campus, and support you as you settle into life in Singapore.
When is the next intake?

What happens at the Online Info Session?
It is a free two-hour session on Zoom. Our counsellors walk through the programme, what the study year involves, fees and funding, and recent graduate work, with time for your questions. Your Zoom link is emailed as soon as you register.
